WHAT IS DINARI?

DINARI was established on June 4th, 1992 in Bali and it was an effort from human’s responsible as God’s creations. “DINARI” stands for “Dian Bhuana Lestari,” which mean lights that shine throughout the world. DINARI was established as the idea of the founders who want to realize their concern for the environment and the desire to change the environment for the better. So in accordance with the existing Foundation deed, the work done by DINARI is conducting socio-economic development program for the poor community.

A society that became the focus of DINARI service is poor in urban and rural areas, mostly the migrants from other islands who want to pit their luck in Bali, the island which is very prospective for the business.

DINARI program grows well. In organizing the program, DINARI working with partners both from local and abroad. The work program was originally realized in the form of individual and trust bank group called CIANDRI (Citra Perempuan Madiri), and then developed with the general group.

Their efforts include stalls, waste collectors, mobile food vendors, market traders, etc. General group focuses on farmers and breeders in rural areas.

The development of service programs to the community coupled with increasing the number of employees. DINARI initially has only one director and two employees. In the course of 17 years, there was a cycle of staff where the staff come and goes and until the end of 2009 the number becomes 44 staff.
